Le LIER publie sur les structures bois-métal

Responsable du département simulation numérique, Clément Goubel publie en collaboration avec Michel Massenzio et Sylvie Ronel ses travaux de recherches intitulés « Wood-Steel structure for roadside safety barriers » dans la revue International Journal of Crashworthiness.

"In the present study, we aim to develop a dynamic model of the multi-material structure in order to understand and optimise such safety barriers, i.e. to define the best possible association by combining the mechanical properties of both materials (i.e. steel and wood)".
