Defensive blockers
For several years now the LIER laboratory has been equipped with all the necessary facilities to perform impact tests on any type of defensive barrier such as bollards, fixed terminals, retractable barriers (road blockers) and others.
Moreover our laboratory is one of a minority in Europe that is capable of performing the full range of mandatory impact tests in compliance with the various European and American standards for vehicles within a weight-range of 1.5 to 32 tons.

The LIER has also been granted full accreditation for the European and American standards that are required to reach major international markets:
- CWA -16221,
- PAS-68
- ASTM F2656,
- DOS SD-STD-02-01
Benefiting from a 30 ha site and several test areas, we have the means to match and fit a wide range of configurations of installation and extended devices such as fences and their possible foundations.
We can assist you during the whole preparation phase prior to the test and once the latter has been set successfully, in facilitating your official dealings with British or American regulation authorities (i.e. CPNI, DOS…) to let you have your materials be added to the official list of certified products.
Additionally, we have also been taking an active part in an international think tank set up to develop the future ISO procedure that will become the undisputed benchmark for assessing those systems.
